With so much crisis, disaster, and conflicts in the world now, what can we do to promote peace, stability
and prosperity in the rural communities? In this emerging economy that are experiencing rapid change what can we do to ensure that this rural communities are able to grow and develop.
This is are some of the important questions that our NGO board ask daily. But we know the answer is investing and making an impact in people. By improving the capacity of people to govern, educate, and produce for themselves, the foundations for long-term peace and prosperity can be laid and disasters averted or mitigated.
Money isn’t the root of evil as many people think, but is the route to all freedom, the selfish pursuit of money is a hallow goal, but the pursuit of goodness that money can create is one of our greatest responsibility as human. The more money a person has, the more ability they must positively change the lives of people in need. If a person Is poor and of a good heart, and a friend or relative house is burnt by fire, he will remain a good person but have no ability to help them, if the same house burns and you are rich you can give that friend a place to stay or a new house because you have more than enough for yourself and anyone around you who needs it. Money has no voice, no feelings, and no soul, the choice between good and evil is decided by those who use it. A poor person can save a life, but a wealthy person can build a hospital to save ten thousand. A poor person can do little to help other the poor but the rich can help as many as they want, the wealthy has the opportunity to do good, but the poor can help no one but themselves.
If a person does not have money, they can use their time and effort to further the advancement of humanity-positive actions that are of equal value to any charitable donations.
The greater a person’s fortune, the greater their responsibility to their fellow humans, those with much wealth can do good for the largest number of people below them.
